The Ballston Area Community Center (BACC) Travel Program begins and ends each day at the BACC Gordon Creek Elementary School Cafeteria. Participants then travel daily via School Bus to surrounding community areas and local attractions.

This adventurous, supportive, and supervised program for all abilities offers social interaction and emotional and physical growth. While traveling to and exploring somewhere new daily, participants will be introduced to new and unique recreational, educational, and social experiences both outdoors and indoors. Giving them a chance to explore new things that they may not have the opportunity to otherwise – while making lifelong skills and memories along the way.

The Ballston Area Community Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.

BACC Travel Program offers seven one-week sessions of different field trips each day
This program is for children Entering 5th Grade- 12 years old (13 accepted if birthday is during program dates)

The trip schedule will be subject to change based on weather, availability, and other factors.

Program Ages & Hours

Travel Program hours: 7:00AM-5:30pm

Travel Program Eligible Ages:
Entering 5th Grade-12 years old (13 years old accepted if birthday is during program dates)

SUMMER TRAVEL PROGRAM 2025 Rates 

One Child                   $360.00 per session

      Two Children                 $684.00 per session 10% Disc.

   Three Children           $1,008.00 per session 20% Disc.

      Four Children             $1,332.00 per session 30% Disc.

Due once accepted:
$10 family fee (one per family)
$50 per week, per child deposit within 48 hours of receiving Acceptance Email.
No deposits or family fees are due until you receive your acceptance.

We require each family to make SEPARATE payments for the Summer Program and Travel Program –
This includes the deposits put down and tuition paid throughout the Summer.
You will need to write separate checks or set up seperate automatic banking for each child.

How to Register as a Returning/Current Family:

Registration for Current SACC/Returning Summer Program Families begins March 12th, 2025 at 9:00AM. No applications will be accepted if submitted before 9:00AM.
Who is a Current Family? Families who have been enrolled in our School Age Before/After School Program Since January 2025.
Who is a Returning Family? Attended Program in 2024.

Open Registration for the Public begins on March, 26th, 2025 at 9:00AM
PLEASE NOTE: If you are a NEW Family, and you submit an application prior to 12:00AM on 3/26/25, your application will not be accepted and you will be asked to reapply.

1.Follow the Enrollment/Application link and submit application on 3/12/25 at 9:00AM
(Registration is NOT complete without uploading Physical form at time of submission)
2. Within 2 weeks you will receive an acceptance email, confirming the weeks we have reserved for you or if you have been placed on Waiting List.
3. Pay $10.00 family fee, and $50 deposit for each week within 48 hours of receiving the acceptance email
4. Contact us if your child as any allergies or will require mediciation while with us
5. Send any and all cancellations to us via email no later than June 20th, 2025 to avoid being charged the remaining balance for that week.
6. Review Handbook to ensure you are up to date on all important program information
