” The Legal Project, located in Albany, New York, is a private, independent, not-for-profit organization founded by the Capital District Women’s Bar Association in 1995. We are a unique legal services firm in that we help the working poor with their civil legal needs – those who “on paper” make too much money to qualify for programs for the indigent, but who do not earn enough to pay the fees of private attorneys. “
